Leave Supara hotel in Chunkurchak, embarking on a scenic drive to Naryn town through changing landscapes. In Kochkor village, delve into Kyrgyz craftsmanship with a felt-producing demonstration and Ala Kiyiz making. Explore the handicraft museum and shop. Continue your journey towards Naryn, with a possible detour to the stunning Song Kul Lake via the Kalmak Ashuu Pass or 33 Parrots Pass, weather permitting. Rest for the night at Khan Tengry Hotel.
Depart Naryn Town for the enchanting Kel Suu Lake through the Ak Muz route, savoring the journey’s beauty. If weather permits, extend your adventure via Chatyr Kul Lake—this decision rests on weather forecasts. Traverse the awe-inspiring Jeti Oguz Valley as you journey from Naryn Town to Karakol. Drive along Issyk Kul Lake’s northern shore, turning toward Kungei Ala Too (Sunny Mountains) after 15 km. Enter Semenovskoe Gorge, named after the Russian explorer Semenov-Tienshanskii. Cross a mountain pass to reach Grigorievskoe Gorge. After lunch, explore the “Stone Garden” or Cholpon Ata Petroglyphs site, a vast open-air collection of prehistoric rock carvings covering about 42 hectares. End the day with a serene sunset cruise on Issyk-Kul Lake, painting the sky with vibrant colors. Dine and stay overnight at Karven on the lake’s shore.
